Join Chris Shore, ARM’s Training Manager, and Martin Weidmann, Principal 
Applications Engineer, for an overview of the 64-bit ARMv8-A architecture as found 
in the latest tablets and mobile phones.  

Martin, one of ARM’s senior instructors, will introduce the key elements of the 
architecture such as the instruction set, privilege and exception model, memory 
architecture, touching on features which support operating systems, hypervisors and 
secure platforms.  

Chris will provide pointers for further information and reference material, as well 
as introducing the options available from ARM for further study and training.  

The session will conclude with a live Q&A during which Martin and Chris will take 
questions from the floor on the topics covered.
