kabel FTP versus STP

STP stand for Shielded twisted-pair. This loves couple in that every wires is wrapped with metaalfolie and that whole of these pair also still ash is wrapped with such a folie. 
FTP stand for Foiled twisted-pair. These do not have only metaalfolie for all wires gone, by couple of wires. 
UTP stand for Unshielded twisted-pair. These are more flexible, but have no metaalfolie, only one plastiek sheath (just like STP).
